Green and Pink line trains were delayed Friday morning because of switching problems on the track, according to the CTA.

About 6:20 a.m., trains were halted near the Ashland/Lake station, according to the transit agency.

Trains were moving again with residual delays by about 6:50 a.m., the CTA said. Passengers were encouraged to allow extra travel time.
