I just love summer in Chicago. And there are so many ways to enjoy it.

Here’s one of them: sunrise yoga. Embrace the beginning of the day, outside, just as the sun is coming up. Sounds great, doesn’t it?

It’s being sponsored for eight Fridays, beginning Friday (June 12), by Find Your Prana in Lakeview. It’ll be on a rooftop deck and garden.

Did I mention it’s free?

Yoga will begin right at 6 a.m., so those signing up should come a little early (you want to be engaged in it when the sun comes up, after all). NOTE: The time now has been changed to 7 a.m. for subsequent Fridays.

It’s BYOM — Bring Your Own Mat — as well as water, towel, anything else you like to have with for yoga.

The sessions will be built around Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga. (Find out more about that here.)

I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but the sessions very likely will include live music. Nice!

Sign up here on Facebook for one or all sessions. Space is limited. Rain will cancel sessions, but registrants will be notified 30 minutes before. (So remember to check Facebook before leaving your home!)
