I might be repeating myself but if you talk enough on public airwaves, sooner or later you will say something stupid.
Stephen A. Smith talks. A lot. And, he said something stupid. Again.
Stephen A. Smith says a lot of stuff that doesn’t matterThe ESPN talking head was commenting on a Sportscenter highlight from the Norway vs. German Women’s World Cup. Why he was even put in that position is a question for another day.
After Norway blasted a free kick past a line of German defenders, one of whom slightly ducked, Smith blurted out: “They might not want to mess their hair up.”
While speaking about the Ray Rice domestic violence incident, Smith said women can “provoke” men.
Smith tweeted out an apology on Friday:
