A Dolton man was shot to death in the Bronzeville neighborhood early Friday.

About 1 a.m., 38-year-old Abdula Tate was shot in the chest and abdomen in the 4200 block of South Calumet, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Tate, who lived in the 14600 block of Greenwood Road in Dolton,was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the medical examiner’s officesaid.
