Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old boy who went missing from the Back of the Yards neighborhood last week.

Daniel Covarrubias was last seen June 4 in the 4700 block of South Throop, according to a statement from Chicago Police.

Covarrubias is a 5-foot-6, 150-pound Hispanic boy with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, police said. He has a scar on the left side of his forehead.

Anyone with information regarding Covarrubias whereabouts is asked to contact Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
