A man was shot Friday night in the Jeffery Manor neighborhood on the South Side.
The 27-year-old was walking in the 9600 block of South Merrion about 9 p.m. when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the foot, police said.
He was taken in good condition to South Shore Hospital, police said.
