Two shot in Riverdale

Two men were shot Friday night in the Riverdale neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The men, ages 60 and 21, were inside a home in the 13200 block of South Vernon about 10:30 p.m. when they heard shots and realized they’d been hit, police said.

They were each shot in the leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions were stabilized, according to police.

Investigators were questioning four persons of interest in connection with the shooting, although no arrests had been made as of Saturday afternoon, police said.
