Police are warning West Side residents after a knife-wielding suspect committed two recent robberies in the Austin and Humboldt Park neighborhoods.

At least one suspect walked up to victims armed with a knife and demanded money, according to a community alert from Area North detectives.

The robberies happened about 10:15 p.m. on May 30 in the 4700 block of West Wabansia and about 3:20 a.m. on June 8 in the 4500 block of West North, police said.
