Is world ready for … Lindsay Lohan: The Mom?

No one will be surprised if there’s lots of sarcastic social media buzz about Lindsay Lohan’s announcement she wants to have children.

While the long-troubled actress appears ready to move beyond her seemingly endless array of legal problems, I do think many will roll their eyes at the prospect of LiLo becoming a mother. Yes, Lohan has been officially taken off probation — related to that 2012 reckless driving case — and she lately has acted quite responsible with her personal life. Yet, her comments to London’s Sunday Times — “I want kids. I want to settle down with someone. I want a family” — are likely to make many people dubious.

After all, Lohan’s well-publicized family issues, including her topsy-turvy life with her mother and father, Dina and Michael Lohan, do not exactly give her the foundation for becoming a stable parent herself.

One would think she might want to wait a few years — and prove her stability — before diving into parenting an innocent child.

Currently the actress is said to be dating Italian businessman Mathia Milani.
