A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 22-year-old was standing outside in the 2100 block of West 68th Place at 3:50 p.m. when a gray vehicle pulled up and someone fired shots, police said.

He was shot in the chest and leg, and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member and a convicted felon.
