A man was shot Monday night in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.

The 28-year-old was driving in the 3900 block of South Prairie a few minutes before 11 p.m. when a van pulled up and someone started shooting, police said.

The victim got out of his car and tried to run away, but was shot in the foot, police said.

He was listed in good condition at Mercy Hospital.
