Man shot in eye in Woodlawn

A man was shot in the eye in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday evening.

About 5:10 p.m., the 22-year-old was in a fight with another person in the 600 block of East 67th Street when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot him in the eye, police said. The person then ran off. No description was available Wednesday evening.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
