SHARE Small fire at Division Blue Line station temporarily halts service

A fire on the tracks of the Blue Line in Wicker Park has suspended service on the O’Hare branch of the Blue Line.

A small electrical fire near the tracks at the station at 1200 N. Milwaukee temporarily suspended service between Damen and La Salle, according to the CTA and Fire Media Affairs.

Trains were operating in two sections — between O’Hare and Damen, and between Forest Park and La Salle, but service was gettoing back to normal about 3:40 p.m., according to the CTA.

Shuttle buses were available to provide service through the affected area, according to the CTA.

No one was injured from the fire, according to Fire Media.
