Two shot in Douglas neighborhood

Two men were shot Thursday afternoon in a possible drive-by attack in the Douglas neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 5 p.m. in the 2700 block of South State Street, police News Affairs Officer Bari Lemmon said.

The men, both adults, were each shot in the right leg, police said. They were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where their conditions had stabilized.
