A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side late Wednesday.

Kimon Wheeler got into a fight with someone who then pulled out a gun and shot him in the back about 10 p.m. in the 4100 block of West Cullerton, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Wheeler, of the 2100 block of West Jackson, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:38 p.m., authorities said.
