SHARE Police warn of Southwest Side burglaries

Police are warning residents about a series of home burglaries this month on the Southwest Side.

In each of the reported break-ins, one or more people have entered a home through a side door and taken items inside, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries occurred:

  • In the 7800 block of South Kilpatrick about 3:10 p.m. June 1;
  • In the 7700 block of South Knox about 2:20 p.m. June 2; and
  • In the 7700 block of South Keating about 4:45 p.m. June 14.
