A man was wounded in a shooting in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side Friday evening.
About 5:40 p.m., the 21-year-old was walking in the 11800 block of South Perry when he heard shots ring out and felt pain, police said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to his hip. His condition had stabilized, police said.
