Mychal’s younger son Trayce plays for the Charlotte Knights, the Triple-A affiliate for the White Sox. Trayce is an outfielder, hitting .282 with nine home runs and 32 RBI this season.
The reason why Mychal is wearing the White Sox sweatshirt during the Warriors parade is because Trayce couldn’t be there, and Mychal thought to honor Trayce during the parade by wearing White Sox apparel.
