Police are warning businesses about a pair of armed robberies reported this week in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the South Side.
In both robberies, a men entered a store armed with a handgun and demanded money from the register, according to a business alert from Chicago Police.
The most recent robbery took place about 10 p.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of West 47th Place, police said. The other occurred shortly before 7 p.m. Monday in the 4400 block of South Archer.
The suspect is described as a 20 t 30-year-old man standing 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds, police said.
