Man shot in Logan Square

A 23-year-old man was shot Saturday afternoon in Logan Square on the Northwest Side.

He was standing on a sidewalk about 3:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Belden when a gunman walked up and shot him in the knee, police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney said. The shooter then got into a vehicle and drove off.

The 23-year-old declined medical treatment at the scene, police said.
