A vehicle crashed into multiple Chicago Police squad cars following a police chase early Sunday on the Near West Side.

The driver attempted to elude officers following a traffic stop, but crashed his vehicle near Damen and Van Buren about 3 a.m., police said.

No officers were hurt in the crash.

Two people were taken into custody and it was not immediately known if they were hurt in the crash, police said.
