Police issued an alert after a pair of recent robberies in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

In each incident, three men approach a victim, demand property and threaten or use force against them, according to a statement from Chicago Police.

The robberies occurred:

  • About 10:40 p.m. June 3 in the 2200 block of North Lavergne
  • About 10:40 p.m. June 18 in the 2100 block of North Kostner

Police described the suspects as three men, about 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-7 and weighing 180 to 200-pounds.
