SHARE Police: Man accidentally shot himself in Hermosa

A man accidentally shot himself in the the face in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side Saturday afternoon, police said.

The 21-year-old was shot in the 2200 block of North Karlov at 1:55 p.m., police said.

His condition was stabilized at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

A police source said the shooting was self-inflicted.
