Man shot on Far South Side

A 23-year-old man walked into a Far South Side hospital Sunday night after being shot in the West Pullman neighborhood.

He showed up at Roseland Community Hospital about 9:15 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the left calf, according to Chicago Police.

He told investigators the attack happened in the 11700 block of South Peoria, where he was standing outside when he heard shots and felt pain.

His condition stabilized, police said.
