Three shot in Hermosa

Three people were shot late Sunday in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The group was standing outside in the 2100 block of North Kilpatrick about 11:45 p.m. when someone walked up and fired shots into the crowd before running away, police said.

A 21-year-old woman was shot in the leg and taken in good condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.

A 15-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to his elbow and was taken in good condition to Community First Medical Center, police said.

A third victim, a 20-year-old man, suffered a graze wound to his ankle and refused medical attention at the scene.
