A 24-year-old man was shot in the face Saturday night in the South Shore neighborhood.

The man was walking in the 2700 block of East 76th Street about 10:45 p.m. when two gunmen approached and opened fire, police said.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he is in good condition.

Police added the man is a documented gang member.
