A man wasshot at a party late Sunday in the South Side Washington Park neighborhood.
The 31-year-old wasat a party in the 6000 block of South Champlain about 11:30 p.m. when he heard shots ring out, police said.
Hewas shot in the leg and taken in good condition to Mount Sinai.
Policeinitially said two men were shot at the party, but later said only one person was struck by the gunfire.
The victim has gang affiliations, police said.
