Wild horse: Wild of the Week

Mike Raucci of Huntley emailed earlier this month, `This is a picture taken of a wild horse along the banks of the Salt River in Arizona while tubing.’’

A wild horse is a first for WOTW.

And yes, as a matter of fact, the sounds of the Rolling Stones “Wild Horses” ran through my head.

Wild of the Week, a celebration of wildlife around Chicago outdoors, runs on the Sun-Times outdoors page on Sundays when apt.

To submit WOTW, find me on Twitter (@BowmanOutside), Facebook (Dale Bowman) or email (straycasts@sbcglobal.net).
