A man was seriously wounded in a shooting early Tuesday on the Far South Side.

The 24-year-old was waiting for a bus about 3 a.m. in the 10200 block of South Wentworth when two people approached and fired at him, police said.

He was shot in the back and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
