Man missing from Bronzeville

Police are asking the public’s help in locating a man missing from the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood since Monday morning.

John Stcyr, 68, is missing from the 2900 block of South State, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. He was last seen about 8 a.m. Monday.

Stcyr is described as a 5-foot-7, 200-pound black man with brown eyes and a dark complexion, police said. He is balding with gray hair on the sides of his head. He also has a tattoo of a bird head on his right arm.

He is dependent on at least two prescription medications that he has not taken in several days, police said.
