The draft has started early.

“With their pick in the draft, the Harlem Globetrotters select … Mo’ne Davis.”

The Globetrotters selected the Little League baseball female phenom in their 9th annual draft.

From WPVI in Philadelphia:

The Globetrotters are exercising a Future Discovery Clause to obtain the rights to Davis when she graduates from college. Sweet Lou Dunbar, the Globetrotters’ director of player personnel, says When we conduct our draft, we look for outstanding athletes from different sports all over the world that exemplify the Globetrotters’ efforts to provide service, smiles and sportsmanship globally.

Davis took the world by storm, becoming the first female pitcher to win a game in the LLWS. She turns 14 tomorrow.

She can also play hoops, though.
