A 4-year-old boy is in critical condition after he fell from a sixth floor window in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday night.

About 8:30 p.m., the boy fell from a window on the sixth floor of an eight-story building in the 6500 block of South King Drive, police said.

He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in critical condition, police said.
