A man was seriously wounded in a shooting in the South Shore neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
About 4:35 p.m., the 22-year-old was shot in the mouth and lower knee in the 7400 block of South Kingston, police said.
He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said.
