A woman was cut by glass during a fight Wednesday morning in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

The 32-year-old was involved in a fight in the 1600 block of West 85th Street about 8:20 a.m. when she was cut in the hand by glass, police said.

She initially told police she had suffered a graze wound from a shooting, but no shots were fired during the fight, police said.

The woman was trespassing on the property at the time, police said.

She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn for treatment.
