As part of the Fab Five, Jalen Rose helped bring baggy shorts into vogue.
Didn’t matter on Thursday night during the NBA Draft.
ESPN enlisted the help of 12-year-old Moziah Bridges to critique the attire of the prospective draft picks. Bridges gained fame on “Shark Tank” with his bowtie company.
Bridges was asked for his opinion on Rose’s attire when he was drafted in 1994. His response was gold, saying Rose looked like a “candy cane” and “was it Christmas?”
Rose laughed it off, then misinterpreted the “candy cane” line for “candy paint.” Rose pointed out to the “young man” that draft day was his “Christmas.”
