The roads and expressways were are quiet, though fog is spread throughout the area, to start Friday, but that could change this afternoon.

Also, the Beach Boys and Kool & the Gang are at Montrose Beach for an outdoor show at The Dock. So expect backups on Lake Shore Drive heading northbound.

No reported delays at the airports or on Metra or the CTA.
