A woman is in critical condition after a shooting Saturday night in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
The woman, 28, was exiting the passenger side of a vehicle in the 700 block of North Lavergne at 10:10 p.m. when a male walked up and fired shots, police said.
She was shot in the cheek and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
