Man shot in West Pullman

A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 42-year-old man was shot about 1:20 p.m. in the 11500 block of South Laflin, police said.

He was suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the leg and was taken to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, where his condition was stabilized, according to police.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member who is currently on parole.
