A bicyclist was killed when he was struck by a vehicle Saturday in northwest suburban Hanover Park.

Robert N. Ogurek, 53, was riding a bike near Irving Park and Barrington roads when a vehicle struck him, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was taken to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, where he was pronounced dead at 11:27 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy found Ogurek, whose home address wasn’t available, died of multiple injuries and ruled his death an accident.
