A bicyclist was killed when he was struck by a vehicle Saturday in northwest suburban Hanover Park.

Robert N. Ogurek, 53, was riding a bike near Irving Park and Barrington roads when a vehicle struck him, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was taken to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, where he was pronounced dead at 11:27 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy found Ogurek, whose home address wasn’t available, died of multiple injuries and ruled his death an accident.

Hanover Park police could not immediately be reached for more details.
