Man, 48, shot in Rogers Park

A man was shot Sunday afternoon in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

The shooting happened in the 6900 block of North Ashland about 1:25 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney said.

The 48-year-old was shot in the leg and taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston in good condition, Sweeney said.
