A man was hurt in a drive-by shooting late Sunday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 19-year-old was walking down the street in the 12200 block of South Wallace at 10:30 p.m. when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The man was shot in his right side and friends drove him to Little Company of Mary Hospital, where he is listed in fair condition.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.
