Kirk Hinrich has exercised his option with the Bulls and will return next season, according to an ESPN report.
Hinrich is set to make $2.8 million next season, which will be his 11th with the Bulls.
Bulls had expected this Hinrich move. Doesn't change FA plans or path to being tax team for 2nd time in franchise history.

Hinrich, 34, is coming off his worst NBA season, averaging 5.7 points and 2.2 assists in 66 games. He is the Bulls’ all-time leader in three-pointers made.
Can't believe Hinrich big-timed Bobby Portis on his big day.
