Three people were stabbed Monday afternoon — one fatally — during a domestic-related fight in the North Side Lincoln Square neighborhood, officials said.

The stabbing happened about 3:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of West Windsor, police said.

During a fight, a male armed with a knife stabbed a 20-year-old woman and two men, ages 19 and 21, according to police and Chicago Fire Department spokesman Jeff Lyle.

The woman was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where she was pronounced dead, Lyle said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office had not been notified Monday evening.

The two men were each taken to area hospitals. The 21-year-old was in fair condition, and the 19-year-old had non-life-threatening lacerations to his face, authorities said.

Police said a person of interest was being questioned Monday evening.
