Steve Kerr soothes the Warriors with music

The Steve Kerr story is an amazing one.

He’s not your average coach, as he proved this season by leading the Golden State Warriors to the best record and the NBA Finals in his first try.

His methodology is probably different than most coaches, too. Instead of the usual whistle and sneaker squeaks, the sounds at Kerr’s practice are of music. The coach leaves the request lines open to the players unless it’s his day to choose, then it becomes “White Guy Wednesday.” [1:30 mark]

Kerr talked about team chemistry as as a member of the National Advisory Board of Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA).
