According to a number of sources close to Caitlyn Jenner, the former Olympic champ — a gold medalist when she was known as Bruce Jenner — is likely to snare quite a number of big endorsement deals as a woman.

“Already they are throwing offers and deals Caitlyn’s way,” said a usually reliable source in the camp of Jenner’s Kardashian clan. Among the kinds of products thought appropriate are fragrances, all kinds of women’s apparel, cosmetics, hair products and jewelry.

“Caitlyn will be an intriguing draw for a number of designers, manufacturers and promoters of luxury goods,” added the source. “Plus, beyond the fascination with the transgender issue, there’s a big likability factor that works in Caitlyn’s favor.”

• All that may be true, but don’t count Snoop Dogg among those clamoring for more and more news about Caitlyn Jenner. In an Instagram post early Wednesday the music superstar published a photo of fellow musician Akon — drawing attention to his Lighting Africa initiative, a program geared to providing electricity via solar power to some 600 million Africans. In his post, Snoop Dogg zinged: “Shout out to Akon. He is about to supply 600 million Africans with solar power. I’m really upset this isn’t major news but that science project Bruce Jenner is.”
