Boy, 16, shot in Chicago Lawn

A 16-year-old boy was shot while riding a bicycle in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood Wednesday night.

About 9:25 p.m., the teen was riding a bicycle in the 6700 block of South Artesian when he heard shots ring out and felt pain, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right thigh, police said. His condition had stabilized.
