Bono and U2 are in town to rock the house. Spike Lee is here to rock the boat.
Perhaps it was inevitable that the two meet. Lee posted to his Instagram account on Tuesday morning about the moment:
Lee took time off from picnicking with Michael Pfleger and fending off critics of his next movie, “Chiraq,” to check out the Irish band’s show at United Center on Monday night.

U2, meanwhile, finishes up a five-show set in Chicago on July 2.
They’ve been using the gigs to perform some older material, including “Gloria,” which has been mothballed for about 10 years.
