SHARE Police warn of NW Side home burglaries

Police are warning residents about a series of home burglaries reported this month on the Northwest Side.

Someone has entered homes through unlocked windows or doors and taken TVs, clothes, jewelry, cash, laptops and small electronics from within, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries occurred:

  • in the 3400 block of North Milwaukee between 3 and 5:30 p.m. June 10;
  • in the 4000 block of West School between 7;30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. June 12;
  • in the 4100 block of West Cornelia between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 25;
  • in the 4100 block of West School between 2 and 6 p.m. June 28.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to contact Area North detectives at (312) 744-8263.

The woman, whose age is unknown, was located about 4:50 p.m. Monday in the 10700 block of South Edbrooke Avenue.
Rodgers recently revealed that he took ayahuasca trips to Peru in 2020 and 2021. Ayahuasca is a psychedelic plant liquid.
The boy was shot in the back and taken to a hospital in fair condition, police said.
