Police are warning residents about a series of home burglaries reported this month on the Northwest Side.

Someone has entered homes through unlocked windows or doors and taken TVs, clothes, jewelry, cash, laptops and small electronics from within, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries occurred:

  • in the 3400 block of North Milwaukee between 3 and 5:30 p.m. June 10;
  • in the 4000 block of West School between 7;30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. June 12;
  • in the 4100 block of West Cornelia between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 25;
  • in the 4100 block of West School between 2 and 6 p.m. June 28.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to contact Area North detectives at (312) 744-8263.
