An unfolding hostage barricade situation in Albany Park has a stretch of Montrose closed and the CTA No. 78 bus re-routed on the North Side to start the morning.

No major accidents or delays were being reported on area expressways as generally clear weather conditions prevailed early Tuesday.

No reported delays at the airports or on Metra or the CTA.

There are a number of closures, daily and long term, through the Illinois Tollway system. Check the state’s map for the latest on impacted areas:
