A man was shot in the arm Thursday afternoon in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened in the 3900 block of South Prairie at 1:18 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney said.

The 32-year-old man was shot in the arm and being treated at Mercy Hospital, where he is listed in good condition.
